I Looooooooooooove Algebra ...
y x y6 = y7 ...{ 6 and 7 are Exponents ..}

You Can Saw Y times Y to the Power of 6 OR :
Y times Y To the 6th Power

Good Luck ..Thank You For Asking Nice Question

y times y to the 6th power or
y times y to the power of 6
the little 6 is called an exponent

instead of putting in a multiplication sign for the times,
put in a little dot between them, that also means multiply.

Is an 'agelbra" the same as an angel bra? I don't recognize this equation.

But, it sounds like it's an exponential equation.

So, 2 times 2 to the 6th...would be = 2 X 64 = 128.

Yes, y to the power of seven is correct but the reason is that y to the power of six is y multiplied by itself six times so another y x means y to the power of seven. It's sort of a trick question.

Ok as promised, I am answering.

It is Y times Y, to the power of 6. You were right.

OK, now? No more tears? Good girl!

y times y will be y*y or y squared or y^2
y to the power of 6 will be y^6
ytimes y to the power 6 will be y*(y^6)=y^1*y^6=y^(1+6)=y^7
a^m*a^n=a^(m+n)
a^m/a^n=a^(m-n)
(a^m)^n=a^(mn)
a^-m=1/a^m
a^m=1/a^-m
