Would have to go with Barbie on this one. They've depicted her in several different role models for children. However, GI Joe is supporting the US Sevicemen role which is highly regarded. Really, kind of a toss up.

I really don't like Barbie's message for young girls--tiny waist and long skinny legs that would never be able to hold up a woman in real life, but--they do have Doctor Barbie and other careers for young girls to think about: olympic athelete, astronaut, firefighter, politician, etc. That's better than the violence that GI Joe would encourage.

properly, i don't think of both of them particularly. Barbie clothing like a s***, no longer a good social gathering. and GI Joe supplies the perception of violence to children. i ought to stick to at least some thing like Rescue Heros it has a significant outcome on children and they have all diverse kinds of neat toys out. My nephews were fidgeting with rescue heros considering they were 4 years previous and nevertheless do 4 years later. They under no circumstances grow to be bored of them.

Anything is better then Barbie, what do you want the girls to live with the thought that the will never be as beautiful as her and hate their selves forever.

No just overreacting.
