I have been using it for about a year and think it is an amazing service, though it takes a little use to work out how flexible and adaptable it actually is. Admittedly I actually registered over 1 1/2 years ago, but I couldn't really see the benefit of it.
Sometimes it takes a while to figure out how useful some of these web trends are. I think I had a flickr account for almost a year before I realised how cool it actually was...
del.icio.us has been something of a phenomenon on the web (though largely with techies until recently). Yahoo bought the site last year... they're obviously trying increase its exposure, and Y!A is much more popular with non-techie people...
Try using it for a while - it's a really great way to discover cool new things, as well as just keep your own bookmarks.

It looks like a disorganized mess of junk. Maybe there's some useful stuff in there, but I don't have the patience to go looking for it.
