NOT all English fans. I have read many English newspaper articles with realistic comments where the people put the blame exactly where it belongs. Not on Cristiano!
=============================================
Even Rooney stated:
Rooney said: "Whenever England don't do well in a World Cup people look for a scapegoat and unfortunately a lot of people have turned to Cristiano for that".

Most definatley, do you really imagine that we'd have heard more than two words about it if the situation was reversed, with Rooney goading the ref to send off Ronaldo............I DO NOT THINK SO. English fans are sore loosers, always have been always will be.

I don't like him anyway, he plays for Man United. I don't like anyone who plays for Man United.

Ronaldo's wink just added fuel to the fire but Rooney shouldn't have stood on that guy's nuts anyway. Rooney says it was an accident, I say bollocks.

We lost on penalties, nobody is to blame for losing on penalties. If you look at the England performances overall we were shite and didn't deserve to go any further in the tournament anyway.

Also if you noticed it wasn't just England fans who booed him for being a cheating bastard.

People are angry because he dives a lot and does not play a "fair game" yet has the audacity to try and get another player sent off for unsportsman like conduct. He is also a generally cocky little so and so and is very easy to dislike frankly

Yeah they dont want to put the blame on Wayne Rooney...It wasnt Rooneys fault he stood on someones knackers, it was Ronaldos. Apparently

everytime it is the world cup someone is to blame.. rememeber he beckham instance and he was blamed. when it is penaties and someone misses someone is to blame. fans shouldnt just blame one person they should blame the team for playing rubbish.
Ronaldo is picked on because he got the "amighty rooney" sent off but it wasnt Ronaldos fault that rooney has a temper.
england fans need to realise that its a GAME and their is more important things then winning a stupid cup..

IF you can guess i dont like world cup. i dont mind premiership football but not world cup...

I noticed long time ago that they are always looking for somebody to blame when things don't go wright. The biggest problem is that, for them, almost all the time,things go wrong. Wait and see, 50 years from now, they still will be talking and blaming him for their failure in this cup.

Rooney is our big hero in football so any player who did this to him would be seen a scapegoat. Nobody mentions about Carvalho, who Rooney stood on.
