Being happy with yourself, no matter what life hurls your way. Happiness comes from inside yourself. Only you can choose to be happy. So, continually work on improving yourself in all that you do, so that you know you are the best person you can be. For me, this is loving everyone the best that I can and having hope and faith in God and working always to please Him. This makes me feel that life is worth living. If I just sat around and did nothing, I would be depressed. Give to charity, help others out, and when you fail at something, don't get upset. Just figure out how you can improve next time in that situation. Most importantly, seek out God and put your hope and trust in Him. He is always with you.

Tough one. There are a few answers that I came up with - all of which seem to approach the truth, but ironically, none really satisfy me fully!
One - it depends on the person. For myself, my fiancee's embrace is more satisfying than anything I have ever known before. But since she probably won't go around hugging everybody else, that's probably not the solution you're looking for.
Two - as humans, I don't think that we are fundamentally capable of finding one thing that completes us - we are at the same time too basic and to complex for any one thing to perfectly fit all of the empty that we each carry around. So my best answer has to be that to find satisfaction with the search itself - to take away everything you can from the journey, without fixating on the destination, is probably the best path to fulfillment.
This answer would make a REALLY long fortune cookie.

I saw many answers and some are really a **** as they are.
Nothing gives you enough satisfaction, enough joy as POWER gives you. Some says Money is the thing, but, it is really really POWER, that is , genuine power, power that doesnt have the guilty feeling of any wrong doings, power which helps someone insted of making someone sick.
And it is a very difficult thing to control yourselves when you are in power..
So power is also a satisfaction looser. So in other words, nothing will satisfies man, even if God come in front of us and give you anything you asks, man is soo greedy that he will never be saisfied.
Take care.

For me; true happiness lies in accepting and loving yourself as who you are. That way you can understand and give love to others. Material things help in life but they are on the whole insignificant. This is from someone who has suffered depression many times over the years. I have learnt to be truly happy is to forgive other people their mistakes, as we all make them. We act as we do on the experience and knowledge that we have.
I am now in a very good place, now that i've found the true meaning of life.. (and no, i'm not religious but i like to consider myself kind of spiritual. I keep an open mind to all religions)
..oh, and lets not forget chocolate!!

Loving our self and truly shedding the mountain of self doubt we build as we grow older. When we can have total confidence in ourselves we can have the life we choose instead of the life we settle for.

Well, like the song says, 'there's a God shaped hole in all of us'. Only God can fully satisfy us, if you let him.

Self esteem.
Life is wonderful.
Every moment is important.
If you cannot appreciate the "NOW", you cannot really enjoy life.
