It really scares me a lot. I am from the U.S., and my mom is French. Her father is ill, so she is planning to go real soon- we have been searching for flights. I have been afraid for her since 9/11, and this really scares me. I love to fly myself, but I have not flown in 16 years . I planned on going back to France with my children, to visit their great-grandparents, but I just don't think I can risk it!

well considering the total lack of information I have to say I am a bit suspicious - I noticed on the news yesterday a major change (I only listen to news on the radio since I don't watch tv). Previously when they would cover the issue involving Israel and Lebannon, they would interview both Lebanese and Israelis who were suffering (although mainly Lebanese but of course more Lebanese have suffered). But last night they only interviewed some Israelis who were upset that they had to stay in a bomb shelter that stunk and hadn't been moved south yet - they did not even mention what was happening in Lebanon.

If you read history you will see many instances where governments have hyped up events and even accused groups of people of doing things they haven't. Read the case of the Guildford Four in England if you don't believe me - an entire family was imprisoned for supposedly being involved in IRA bombing. They were all (including 2 children) tortured to make them admit to something they knew nothing about! They were finally set free (see the movie In the Name of the Father with Daniel Day Lewis).

We can't really know for sure, but considering the fact that our government lied to us about weapons of mass destruction being in Iraq to justify invading, we have to be careful believing what they say.

The world has a lot more to come in my view, if we wasnt so easy going on immigration then we would not have this problem

It's all a part of life, and we must not let the news affect us in any way...What's going to happen, will happen, and there is not one thing we can do about it...That's my inborn philosophy, to keep my world safe...

I am not rich so I have never set foot on a plane. And really don't care if rich people die on them. Yea Yahoo give me grief.
