I've been to many East European countries. Bulgaria and Ukraine were the cheapest ones of them. Accommodation, food and transport are really cheap there. Real estate prices are very low too.

You could try Romania too. There are plenty of nice places to see, sorry, I meant amazing places to see. You can go hiking in the Carpathian Mountains (that are splendid in the autumn, when the trees are from dark green to yellow); you can swim in the Black Sea and enjoy the lovely beach of Mamaia; you can see the famous Moldavian monasteries from the North of Romania or you could visit the most agitated city- Bucharest.

Yes, i agree with Ana. Romania is just wonderful. Fabulous landscapes, safety, low costs and nice people. Not to mention the food which is fantastic!

Turkey. specially Antalya is my fav. anyway lots of foreigners living there. generally they came for an holiday and began living there. u would see lots of German, English, Dutch, Dannish, Russian have flats in Antalya. they r happy, why wouldnt u?

Egypt is one of the cheapest to live. I am not sure on how expensive it is to get there.
