I have bought a pair of stockings, they're sheer with the seams which go down the back of the legs, I am planning on wearing them with a black camisole and a knee length denim skirt, do you think they will be too raunchy or okay for that outfit? Its for a night out in town!

Seamed stockings can be classic and elegant. I would rather see you save them for a "little black dress" with black pumps. I think the camisole and the stockings might send out a message you do not want to send out. Besides, denim would break the continuity of your outfit and make you look like you are wearing a costume. When you think seamed stockings, think of the classic actress, Audrey Hepburn. If you are interested in meeting a gentleman, men love classic and mysterious looks...be a breath of fresh air, not another costume casualty.

Being from the male perspective, I am not big fan of this kind of nylon's with a Denim Skirt.. Go with the camisole and wear a matching Lace half slip with you denim skirt.. Plain nylons will be find or none at all, depneds on your shoes.. I agree with other responder the black seamed nylons sounds like a little black dress or Skirt.. save it for another special night.. have fun and be confident of your self...

If you are going out on the town i think they will be fine, and very sexy. Denim doesn't always have to mean super casual, I wear black stockings with it all the time, and I am what you would call a classic I preppy dresser, but I enjoy making simple outfits sexier by wearing stockings and heels with them. We women don't always have to follow what those crazy little gay designers tell us to do, we can create our own styles. Look at the people who tell us what to wear, they look like fools themselves.

They sound fine to me but it's hard to make those seams stay straight and it does look terrible when they are not. I am not one to worry about the current fashion trends. Wear what looks good on you and you like. You will find out soon enough what others think even if you don't want to know. Someone will always be too ready to tell you what they think about what you are wearing. Enjoy the night out! And *smile* :)

Sounds fine for a night out. I wouldn't attempt it during the day. Especially with the longer skirt, I think you will be alright.

These stockings sound great for the place that you will wear them. Don't try to wear these to the office though as they will not be looked upon very favorably...
