If it is ever possible, it will be possible in everyones lifetime. - That is not to say that it will 'first' be done in our lifetime.
Headline News :- 11th August 3006 - In the first practical Time Travel experiment an employee of the Chronus Corporation travelled back to the year 2006 and recorded a broadcast of a show called "Dr. Who".

Are you talking travel forward or backward in time? If you mean backward in time, then the answer would have to be no. Because if it was possible to travel backward in time then someone could have travelled back to the here an now. Seeing as no-one has travelled backwards in time to now, it would seem that no-one is ever going to discover time travel.

Think about this:
If time travel were possible at all. We would already have the technology. If 250000 years from now someone were to develop a time machine, infinite instances would become available and at some point in time the technology would be stolen or copied and brought back and capitalized on in an earlier time, and earlier time, and earlier time.
Thus, it is only logical that time travel by humans will never be possible.

While we are no longer so naive as to think that a mechanical device such as H.G. Wells's Time Machine could be easily built, the "new physics" offers us tantalizing glimpses of the possibility of time travel, possibly utilizing forces and entities which exist, at least theoretically, in our universe today. "The notion you can move forward and back in time is allowed by some of the new ideas in physics," says Jeffrey R. Kuhn, a physics and astronomy professor at Michigan State University.(2)

No, I do not believe time travel is possible, As Time is and abstract idea, Invented by humans, to track the changes in the universe. I believe change happens linearly, and cannot be reversed. Therefore, It is impossible to go back or forward in "Time".

No, at least not into the past. It may be possible to travel into the future by accelerating to close to the speed of light, but travel into the past is impossible, otherwise we would already have visitors from the future among us.

Time travel is actually happening as we're going into the future all the time. Changing our own time stream is a bit more complicated as we cannot do it with our physical bodies and we would need to work in other dimensions, which no-one is actually investigating or admitting to.

Time travel as you mean will never be possible, or at least will not be with the Physics we presently know.
So, the answer is no. Not unless there is a radical change in our understanding of the Universe.
