i write companies ranking:
1 Bose
2. JBL
3. ALtec lensing
recently my friend bought altec lensing ATP3 model it costs around 2500 in Nehru place in new Delhi.....mind you those speakers are tremendous.....there is no point wasting money for any other company's model of 2.1 speakers.......
and there is no use of getting 4.1 or 5.1 or bigger if you dont have original DVD's at ur home......coz copied dvd's have only 2 channels of audio so it wont have any difference if you go for 2.1 or 6.1

The Logitech X230 is better and also cheaper than the Altec models

Creative Sound works 2.1 Great one ! Price is less than 4000, I guess

Go for JBL speakers its as very good sound system
