Already done it, I emigrated from the UK in June 2002, we came to Spain and its the best thing we ever did, we moved because of all the crap that goes on there, we didn't want our children to grow up there amongst all that, and I am so glad we did, we have a much better way of life here, and we all speak fluent Spanish, the kids are free spirts and can play out doors at least 8 months out of the year, they are not couped up indoors.

It's a part of my plan for when I retire. I will go to either Thailand or the Philipines, just haven't decided which yet. A lot will depend on my future wife, and which country she comes from. I have a few to choose from at the moment, just not rushing into anything. The main reason, apart from genuinely wanting to share my life with someone, is that my pension money will go a lot further in either of those countries than it will here in the UK, even 12-14 yrs time when I retire.

me and my boyfriend are seriously considering moving to australia in a few years time, after we are married and have a decent amount in our savings account. We have recently filled in migration forms etc and we have been accepted at prescent, but we never took the process any further because we're not ready to move just yet, but as i say, we will do in a few years time. We're just fed up with the UK and the taxes we pay, illegal immigrants etc, plus aussie is just to die for... what a beautiful country!

I'm thinking of moving to Australia for a few years.
Why? Because I'm 22, fresh out of Uni and want to live my life and experience as much as possible!
I hope to move on to American then - make the most of my "sexy" British accent over there! (o:

I've thought about going to Canada or Australia, but that would mean very cold winters in one and the worlds deadliest everything in the other so would have to think long and hard about it.
