Find a quiet place to study and close the door. Have your phone off the hook andn let your machine answer it, your pager on vibrate or off. Have the radio off or on low, the same for TV. If you're studying alone, use your bedroom-that's what I did. Close the door. If you live at home or at a dorm, tell others no distractions. If you're on campus, you can also go to study rooms, that are designated for just that . . . studying, with others are there. The library, whether college or local, is a great place to study too, since there have a study area there for silence. Good luck.

You have to remove the distractions, TV, radio, cell phone, mp3 player, everything. Close yourself in a quiet room with nothing bu your study materials and enough water and healthy snacks to last a couple of hours.
