Do u think u are bipolar? If u r bipolar u will not fix it without medication even though u do not want to be on medication. So the only thing u can do is to try and cope using self talk and a positive attitude which will not give u big results like (only for example) depakote-er and effexor-xr combined. Or another example some need lithium. Anyway, u need to see a medical doctor, a good psychiatrist who can diagnose u properly and work with u on treatment. Good luck.

Just chill out!
It's perfectly normal to be in different moods through different situations, when you feel down, take a step back from the situation and remind yourself that it isn't really that important. Count your blessings, think of the people in situations like Iraq and Lebanon. Many people all over the world live very difficult lives, where they have no control over terrible things happening around them or they're struggling just to have enough food and water to survive.
Anyone who has enough time and the resources to post on here is very lucky IMHO.

You dont have to be on medication,it is a matter of self control, find out what it is that seems to bring you down,is it a person, place or situation, then avoid it,deep rythm breathing while taking a walk also helps. You are going to have to get in touch with your most inner soul and learn to manage it,before long you will see that it is not a problem anymore-good luck

I am the same but on days when I restrict my carbs to no more than a third of any meal or snack, and get the heartbeat up for 15-20 mins by walking etc. And enough sleep I am a different person - calm, not overly emotional and alert.

Meditation and greater awareness of what's going on in your mind and body makes a big difference. Take half an hour per day - focus on breathing... and take this time to examine what's going on within you... don't judge those feelings just be aware that they are there. Does that make sense?

I thought it was too new-agey and silly but after trying it during a fairly difficult time in my life, it made such a difference to my disposition.

There's a guy who writes books about meditation to deal with stress, pain, depression etc. John Kabat Zinn. I took a course on his techniques. You might check out some of his books...

Everyone of us has swinging moods. Does yours happen frequently ? or affecting anyone or anything in your life ? If it is only tired and down, maybe you are lacking mineral or vitamins in our body system. No medication. Seek a nutrition therapist help.

Making yourself busy may help. For example when at your hope making cookings, cleaning your areas, washing; Walking out and refresh; Make always ready alongside your bed or work area writing pads, Computers and pen so that you sometimes riseup and write whatever you have in your head which relieves your mind; Avoid lonliness or chat withfriend in front, by phone or mail; Having a helping friend or love mate, etc...But please avoid addiction to drugs or alcohol. However it is good to have them occassionaly.

well, im afraid we all have them. Good days, and Bad days. What i do is if im feeling down , is think about people who are worse of then me, and think myself lucky! And when have a good day, make the most of it. But i would go to doctors, to make sure you are not suffering with depression.
