I think it can be extremely beneficial to some people. I wouldn't call nose jobs and liposuction artificial....it's not the same as breast implants where you actually have something unnatural inside of you.

I think if someone feels unfomfotable with how they look and wish to have surgery to boost their confidence, why not.

As long as people don't feel pressured into and it is for their own reasons, I have absolutely no problem with it, as I have had a few cosmetic surgery procedures myself.

If done where it looks like it fits the person then it can be a very positive thing but too often you see the plastic surgery looking too plastic.

I think plastic surgery is great! I can see myself, further down the road, getting plstic surgery. I have friends who have had liposuction, tummy tucks, breast augmentations, breast reductions, and rhinoplasty....and they all felt tons better about themselves afterward..and that's what matters in the end..how you feel about yourself.

why look like someone else, when you can be you. There are many people out there who get picked on just because they don't look beautiful. And to them this will fix it. But the weird side of it, will they be able to accept the different treatment from others or will they be fixated on getting more done?

I probably would never get cosmetic surgery, but I do understand why some people would do it. There is a stage where old women do get a bit over obsessed, and that's scary.
