Both equally... it's probably a bit before your time but it used to be called Visa/Mastercard... so both are equally accepted. The difference is this... Visa does not have the tight restraints as MC does to apply for the card so VISA has more cardmembers than MC. Visa will work on quantity of people with their card where MC works on quality. Plain and simple... Anyone can get a Visa, not everyone can get a MC!

The most widely accepted is Visa. Mastercard is the next accepted.

according to Mastercard ads it's mastercard.. I'm not too sure. But I use Visa Debit - credit cards are dangerous

I think Visa and Mastercard are accepted together equally. I do however, think that Visa is used more by consumers.

By personal experience I would say VISA all over the world, except in Europe where MC seems to be quite popular.
