People who abuse either physically or verbally are usually battling their own demons inside. When a person needs to viciously attack another it signals a need for control and dominance. They fear being attacked so they attack first. I've noticed that there is a lot of verbally abusive answers here. Some are just trying to be funny but some are full of arrogance and self importance. People like that are usually cowards in real life and use this forum say a lot of things they would not have the courage to do so otherwise.

I don't really care what makes them mean, I do know that I can't stand people who are like that. I wish they could all just go on some far away island, all together, and be mean to each other.

Because it is the main characteristic of man, a rebel. I don't know if you are religious or not, but if you read the Bible or the Koran, it is the source of all troubles.

Adam and Eve fall into sin because they do not follow God orders, because they are rebelling to God.

And because of this, people fall into their own desire, such as hatred, killing, anything, you name it.

That's the religion point of view.

But from mathematical point of view. You should read the topics of The Game Theory. The conclusion is, people always do something in consideration of their own benefit. But sometimes if they do not yield any benefit from it, they fall into tricky business and causes havoc, such as persuading people to hate each other, and something like that.

So, in conclusion, people downright nasty to each other because it is the main character of man.

Those people pretend innocence but they really hate black people and want slavery/segregation to return.

They look around their surroundings and see one or two black making it amidst hundreds of thousands whites and immediately think their taxes paid for that and they wish to take away any gains from them.

How selfish and evil. They have not changed at all - they are just like their ancestors - greedy and devilish.

Because it's so easy. Its hard work to be good/nice, and some people just don't care. Everyone has been that way at least once, when you just aren't happy, and can't find the energy to help others, or be courtious.
