Yes. The problem is all biblical text was written by man, so people, when they read them,understand it differently than others. But all religion is right. People construe it.

What does it matter? Religion is based off of faith, it truly helps those in it, so why ask them if it's wrong. If the people who believed in it thought it was wrong...they wouldn't believe in it. If you don't want to believe in it, then just ignore it.
