take a pregnancy test.

I was 17 when I got pregnant with my first child. It isn't the end of the world, but first you need to find out if you really are. There are tests available at stores like save-a-lot and dollar general that are only a dollar, and they are accurate.

If you find out you are, then you have some choices to make. I don't know what situation you are in. Though I never would, there is abortion, but I think adoption would be a better choice, but only you can decide that. If you are in a position to be able to care for a child then maybe you can make it work. Your parents may be able to help, or another family member. Maybe even the boys family.

You have a lot to find out, but take baby steps first and see what is going on. If you take a test and it says negative and you still have suspicions you can go to planned parenthood or a crisis pregnancy center and they will do a more accurate one for you, and a lot of times it is free.

You also can go to those places for information on your choices. They are good at dealing with situations like that. I wish you well.

As everyone so far has mentioned you should take a test before you do anything else, you don't want unnecessarily complicate your life by telling people if your not.. If you are you should tell a family member so that you can talk about what you want to do next and plan.

If your not be careful next time as you can now realise how serious the consequences can be, just remember that being pregnant is the best thing that can happen from having unprotected sex.

Take a test immediatley!

You can get a pregnancy test at the Dollar Tree store, and the $.99 store.
If you find out that you are indeed pregnant, you need to tell someone, parents, family, school councelor, women's refuge, right away. You also need to immediatly start taking prenatal vitamins, because a shortage of B vitamins is the direct cause of Spina Bifida.
Good luck to you, and be strong. This is but a bump in the path of life.

It does sound like you are pregnant and you need to deal with this immediately.

Frankly, as a parent and a physician, I strongly advise you to involve your parents (start with the one who is least likely to go crazy) before you make any decisions. You may be surprised at the support you receive and at what you learn. And I have seen women who are emotionally scarred for life by the choices they make regarding an unplanned pregnancy---so you need support right now.

If you can't talk to your own parents, can you talk with the boyfriend's parents? Is there another trusted adult you could talk to who could then assist you in talking with your parents?

Once this is done, look in the telephone book for Planned Parenthood or Emergency Pregnancy Services. Either place will assist with testing and medical care. The latter organization is religious based, however, and will strongly counsel you to avoid abortion; on the other hand, EPS will also support you through your entire ordeal/dealing with parents & boyfriend/pregnancy/delivery.

Please deal with this immediately. Time is of the essence. If you wait too long, your options may more be limited. And you may affect the health of the baby growing within you.

I know telling you to take a test is not the most original thing to say but do it...and see your gp. But remember swollen breasts and back ache are symptoms of a period too.

Your back will only ache in pregnancy when you are heavily pregnant due to the extra weight you are carrying.Your breast's may be swollen because you are due on.Stop worrying,do a test is you wan't reasurrance

You could be pre menstrual. Back ache isn't a symptom of pregnancy, as far as I know. It sounds like it could be an infection. Take a test and go and see a doctor.

Firstly, take a test. Either way, go and see a doctor, especially if the symtoms persist.

If you want someone to talk to about this, find someone you can trust and rely on, but do talk to someone if you are pregnant. Trust me, I know it's not easy but neither is it the end of the world.
