If you can easily kill a revolutionary, but cannot kill the revolution..?

why do people continuously think they can end a revolution with out disentegrating all the revolutionary humans that are concerned??????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

Because you cant. That is just an excuse to go to war... that it can be won by killing the leader. The real failure is the failure to take a look at what we have done to help create the problem.

For example, many ppl after 911 suggested to Bush to begin taking a look at why the terrorist hated us rather than jump into this war. I am not saying they meant to bend over and take it but they meant that force alone without self-analysis was going to end nothing. Which is basically what you are saying.

That's the beauty of revolution. Most of the time killing them only disturbs the people on your side, pushing more and more people into the revolution.

You can take people out of the revolution, but you can't take the revolution out of the people.

Because the lead figure's death affects the spirits of the others negatively.But as u said no one can kill a revolution,it will always rise again.

Some people like tyrants and despots do think that and make a premptive strike aganist people or groups who threaten their rule.

In the US we believe people are innocent until proven guilty and do not kill people for their thoughts.

To think revolutionary or terroristic thoughts is not a crime, to a act on those thoughts by bombing or indescriminate killing are crimes.

i dont know why. You can't be buddy buddy with the people that try to destroy you and your way of life. Sadly enough action is the only way.
