not being racist,but being a singaporean we are all multi racial,perharps i still do not know why the navy air force n commandos do not take in malay guys.because of food?can mindef answer that q publicly please.and i hope one day we will have a malay president.its been a long time since yusof ishak.then we had a eurasian,chinese and indian currently.rotational basis.

Singapore is a former Malay territory. Allowing Malays in the Singaporean army or making one a leader could pave the way for the return of Singapore to the Malay state. It is for state security.

I have read of Malay in the air force when they write about a Malay pilot some years back. I also used to think that there is no Malays in the air foce last time. I personally know of some Malays in the Army also. I also used to think that they are only in the police force last time.
