How do we meet another family? We should like to socialise more and our child could make new friends too!?

It's funny how there are thousands of dating sites out there - but once you are a family, that's it! Religion is a private thing with us - we are looking for other ways to meet "ordinary" families, so look forward to some suggestions.

Begin by checking out your neighbors. I spend summer time talking with the nearest neighbors. I also take my grandchildren to McDonalds play-place and meet others with children there. I get in the longest lines at stores and talk with those in line and chat about church, school, basketball or whatever their interests are. I invite them to come to our church or ask where they attend services at (generally). I know a lot of people in our community but always feel it is important to get to know others there also.
