God has not given everything to any one in this universe. What is given to one is denied to some other. Hence, you have to discover what are your potentialities and automatically you will be aware of your limitations. Because you will have limited potentialities. Try to excel in those with full faith in God. You should never compare yourself with others. You should, therefore not compete with anyone other than yourself. No one is perfect and therefore to expect perfection in others is to expect the impossible to happen. So be nice to others while never trying to let down yourself in your own estimate. You will see, others will respect you and recognise your worth and that is the reward of self-respect!

Self-esteem! If you have self-esteem, you'll never let someone step on you. But the question is how to get more self-esteem! I found the answer in books such as "Yes, I can" from Louise L. Hay and other books that speak about the incredible power of our thoughts. Other good book that I recommend: "Write it down and make it happen" and "Hot chocolate for the mystical soul."

Too many. One's nature and one's nurturing. Almost every encounter past, present, and future can affect how you feel about yourself- that's why I sometimes recommend chocolate!
