Mainly because they don't want to deal with responsibilities on their own. They expect "momma" to take care of their every need or want so they won't have to worry about anything.

Generally men are neither do not want to be known as mama's boys or are not conscious that they are mama's boys.
Men who are often perceived as mama's boys just love and adore their mothers so much that they do not want to hurt them. It's their way of showing their gratitude to their mothers who have brought them into this world.
But mamas do make men their boys. And no matter what age a man is, he will always be the baby that mama gave birth to.

There are plenty of men who aren't mama's boys. My husband is very independent, and has been since he was 18 years old when he left home. And maybe if some of these parent's would push their grown kids (Not just grown men, but the women too) out of the nest and force them to grow up, there wouldn't be so many needy adults out there.
Both my husband and I were raised by parent's that taught us when you marry and start a family of your own, they are your first priority, and everything and everyone else is second. So neither of us have parent's that interfere in our lives. They are there if we need advice, but they would never butt into our lives.
It's a matter of maturity. There is nothing wrong with loving you parent's, but when you're an adult and you're in a committed relationship, you don't go running home to mommy every-time you need to make decisions.

Any man that wants to be a mamas boy is just that a mama's boy.Do not give them any of your attention as you will never be first in there life.

What makes you think any man wants to be called a Momma's boy or a Mommies, ***** ?? Boy do you have that wrong. Any woman who calls her man a momma's boy should be ashamed and they don't realize how cruel and degrading that is. That is one of the most mis-conceptions , that any woman could have is to figure that men want to be called Momma's boys. When a woman calls a man that , it causes lots of dislike twords that women. All men Love their Mothers and it only mean hearted , jealous women who would use that negative slang against men. You better take another survey, because this one you have is all WRONG !

i do not know why some men want to be mamas boys...i know i have raised my sons and they do not want to be a mamas boy at all....maybe they were spoiled to much as a child and there mom gave them everything they wanted...i really do not understand a grown man wanting to stay with his mom at all....they need to grow up and stand on there own two feet.....some do have their mother help them until they get wives and then they should take care of their own families...mine just use me as a free babysitter...but i love my grandchildren also

In my opinion, don't ever marry a mama's boy. Because I am married to a man who is a mama's boy. I am suffering because of him. After 14 years of our marriage ( we had two children) he loves her mother & his family. We are nothing to him. He just using us for everything. These people doesn't not have feelings for others.

mothers are the only women that will love their sons no matter what they do, where they go, or who they are with.
boys know this

this is just my opinion! They don't want to get serious with a woman because they have one there mothers, she'll be kind and do whatever her son wants, cooks, laundry, help with money when needed. among several other reason. They just need to grow up and be more self sufficient. but then again there are those that just love there mothers allot, which on the other hand can be a good thing, because usually you know he will treat the woman in his life every well.
