Bush wants a middle east that likes America and is demcoractic.
Off course that is totally delusional on Bush's part. Lebanon is a democratic country. When Hamas won as a result of democratic elections, America decide not to deal with them.
Any democratically elected govrement in the ME will be anti Bush because of Americas foreign policy.

The "New Middle East" is the war zone that is going on. Countries in the Middle East should solve their disputes peaceably instead of bombarding each other and allowing or inviting other countries to intervene in their affairs
