I had this same dilemna last year. The deciding factor was that I really wanted a unique looking/styling in my car AND a convertible. I went with the CLK Cabriolet. Get the 500 series as you will definitely appreciate the added power of the 8 cylinder and the more sporty aero/ground effects package included. BMW is a good car, but where I am in So. Cal. everyone and his brother drives them. BMW convertibles are not as luxurious in the 3 series and it was impossible to get the 635 convertible without paying like $10K over sticker out here as it had just been released. I LOVE MY CLK CAB. It is unique, reliable and classy.

Come on....The Mercedes Benz is classic. BMW's all look the same inside and out.
You'll look great in the CLK!

honestly go for the the benz, bmw tends to always have more problems than the benz. i think driving a CLK would look good on a girl, so go for it. Goodluck.

i think of BMW 5 sequence would be a greater perfect option because of the fact if we analyze the three autos BMW satisfies each and all of the essential mandatory desires in terms of luxury , uncomplicated , mileage ,overall performance. So BMW is a greater perfect motor vehicle

Take them both for a test drive to find out which one you like best.
It would be fun, they are both good cars and I would go for the BMW M5 as they are brilliant, but also try Audi and Lexus if you are going to be spending a lot. you should find somthing you like
