Chickens do have ears, but they are more like ear holes. They do not
possess an outer ear, or pinna, as most mammals possess, but they do have
ear lobes. The color of the lobe does somewhat indicate the color of
their eggs. It is believed that the same gene that determines the color
of the ear lobe also determines egg color.

Yes, they just don't have the flaps that stick out from the side of your head that you rest your glasses on.
Those are the bits that you think of when you say ears; birds ears are holes in the side of their head, covered over with feathers.
Although personally, I think they'd look better with ears.
