When I ponder the complexities of human behavior, my mind tends to be resolute on the fact that, the reduction of physical space, increase of technology, coupled with theological, cultural and ethical differences tend to be some of the key ingredients to conflict. Also, it seems as though population and technological advancement has far surpassed our maturity and what it means to be human.

Honestly, I do not feel that I know enough about the situation to place any blame, especially from here in the U.S. where so much of the media is sickly one-sided.

Finally, even if I had enough evidence to place blame, that evidence would be circumstantial. What I mean is that, the blame would be based on a particular set of values and, therefore biased. How can I, of sound mind judge or place responsibility on a certain person or group when the human conflict is caused by the spaces that different belief systems create, not the groups themselves?

Maybe the cause is the belief in a god itself. Maybe if we decided one day that this was it and all we had was eachother... maybe then we might listen to eachother. Maybe we would start taking responsibility for ourselves, cease the fear and guilt that the idea of a god creates....stop pulling the "superman/god" card out of the sleave everytime there is something we don't understand about "poker/life."

P.S. I find it funny that we, as humans believe we are so unique, how proud an assumption to make from our grain of sand on the beach of the universe. But, alas we don't understand it so, we create things to explain it for us and, play that card over and over again ceasing to learn anymore. No one likes not knowing.

Iran and Syria largely are the irresponsible countries contributing to the endless violence. Look at Jordan and Egypt who have made their peace with Israel - they are not attacked by Israel. The Emirates and Saudi Arabia do not engage in violent acts against Israel. Even Libya has turned over a new leaf.

It is Iran and Syria which bear full responsibility for encouraging and sponsoring militia groups in Lebanon, Palestine, Iraq - they are the REAL MENACE to peace in the Mid East region.

Mankind in general. There have been wars since the beginning of time, and there will be wars when we are gone. I feel about wars like Sara Teasdale did in this following poem.

There Will Come Soft Rain

There will come soft rain and the smell of the ground,
And swallows circling with their shimmering sound;

And frogs in the pools singing at night,
And wild plum-trees in tremulous white;

Robins will wear their feathery fire
Whistling their whims on a low fence-wire;

And not one will know of the war, not one
Will care at last when it is done.

Not one would mind, neither bird nor tree
If mankind perished utterly;

And Spring herself, when she woke at dawn,
Would scarcely know that we were gone

Not any form of entity or religion is to blame. It is intolerance, selfishness, bad reasoning and myriad inherent natures that lead to the crises that permeate the lives of those in the Middle East.

Bush is jealous of muslem developments?!?

I do not see a muslem unit on the international space station.

Have you ever seen a spacesuit with turban on it?

Those people still believe things that were proven wrong thousands of years ago. How could anyone be jealous of their accomplishments? They have used their own religion to hold themselves back from the future.

well, the world is in a total mess, and i blame the arabs, they could easily stop this, and try to crack down on terrorism, but noo, they want to cause so many problems, and they know the west cannot do anything because we need their oil, and they want a much money as possible.
