As a pre-teen, than teen, growing up , I used to hide-out in the front of a Bekins storage entrance high on a ramp. It was there that my friends and I could smoke cigarettes without interference.
On more "serious" occasions (like occasionally skipping school), I used to hide inside a service module at an abandoned local train station.

There was a river behind my house and when it would flood in the spring it would wash soil out from under trees on the bank. I had about a good half dozen hiding spots under trees complete with stocked canned goods, candles and comic books. Drawbacks: worms, sand fleas, snakes and the occasional raccoon. And let's not forget the occasional cave-in.

You bet. I would ride my bike to the local high school's baseball field. There was never anyone out there, and I would bring along a CD player. I could hide there for hours at a time.

Either in my closet in my bedroom or I'd find places outside in the neighborhood. In the woods or wherever.

It was hard to hide in our house...closets were too small. I usually hid outside though. Never did any good though....I always go found and then it was spankin' time....

We had a tool shed that no one used after my grandfather died. My brother and I use to go thru tool boxes and pretend we were finding treasure. No One would ever find us.
