Do you think it will be safe, I will be travelling from North east of england and will be heading over to Europe on a late deal holiday in September. I have been really looking forward to go and my new passport arrived yesterday i have been saving like mad.I was so excited now I am just filled with sorrow. Now I will be even more nervous on a plane.

I work as cabin crew and it IS difficult to get back on an aircraft after something like this happens. But these people want us to be afraid. If you cancel your holiday and let them affect your life, they have already won and they didn't even have to do anything. Just remember that they were caught before they managed to do anything and nothing has actually happened. You are actually safer now than you were a week ago because of all the extra measures. Go on your holiday, enjoy yourself and thats the biggest middle finger you can give to these people!

I know how you feel, I am flying next week and its a real concern. The only comforts are that 1. they have been arrested 2. You hope its a deterrent to others 3 The security restrictions mean that nothing should get through.

i know what you mean i waited a whole year to go to England and mom keeps forgetting to book but now my dad says we are not going full stop so i dunno i think it is safe cause like the police are not letting people take tooth paste even watches they are even stopping people from taking baby milk on the plane so it must be safe. The Us is now making a X-ray that will detect explosives.

If they scare you into changing your lifestyle, then the terrorists have already won.

Just remember that you're more likely to get killed walking across the street, driving in traffic or struck by lightning than in a terrorist attack.
