I have an access to internet in a library, but the permission to access the mail is denied. they have locked up the sites relating to mails. i cant open any mail sites. somehow i manage to open the login page for (say) yahoomail to login but when i press the login button or the "enter" key, access is denied -- comes up on the screen. can any techno savvy help me access the mail.

actually there are 20 pc's in the library and some of the members are able to access mail on it. i have tried on every pc but couldn't login. there must be some secret way to do so.

Most content filters will (or can be configured to) blanket block all mail sites (Yahoo, gmail, Hotmail etc) , but if others aren't having this issue I doubt this is the case.

You might be better talking to the IT technician at your library, but to be honest it sounds more like you are using the wrong username / password - and you should see a message to this effect.

For instance, you no longer need 'yourname@yahoo.co.uk' to log into yahoo.co.uk, merely entering 'yourname' and your password.
