What do u think about emo people?

This gender it is so rife right now.....I see so many emo girls or boys.....what do u think about them?or...maybe....could u be one of them?

I used to be emo.. Really just like a normal person with acceptions, there are fakes.. those are the ones that are sometimes, most of the time.. easy to point out.. attention seekers i must add.. Real emo people, I was emo for the fact of my past, I now know the juggalo world and its a lot better then emo.. :-)

emo is the new version of goth.. to me it seems like goth-light (you know like Bud-Light?)
Lots of people hate on them.. but it's just a phase.. most people go through phases when they are kids.. and sure some of these kids will still like the music when they get older but will ditch the fashion scene crap. Yeah personally I think it's silly, they all look the same, I hate the music, but it doesn't affect me, when I was in highschool it was all about the metalheads/ goths and rudeboys/ rudegirls and nobody liked us punks either.

My son--12 yrs old--just told me about them last night, he said I could be one cuz I was sad and looked depressed. All I needed to do he said was to paint my fingernails black...I'd heard of goths, but emo was a new one...

i believe you mean, 'genre", not, "gender". i dunno. i like emo people, though they're all way too into themselves. then again, i tend to be way into them, sooo... i like goths, too, when they have aesthetics. emo's cheaper (unless you buy rare seven inches... if they still make seven inches), and requires no clown make-up.
