Of course it is safe, we have very low crime rate and more tourists in the malls then locals themselves!
It is so safe that you can leave your car running and go to get groceries and come back, your car with everything in it would still be there!
And be sure to bring lots of cool cloths in the summer and camera! And don't worry about sunburns you can always get sunscreen down at the beach =)

Dubai is very safe. Have lived here 17 years . You wont have to worry about walking the streets even at 3 in the morning .people are very friendly too , should you get lost .

Dubai is very safe, no need to worry at all, is beautiful, the beach , people are nice, the shopping malls are fantastic, food is mmmmm!!!!!, I live there for 3 1/2 months and I love it.

Been there. It is beautiful. I guarantee you'll like it. It is safe to go there. A lot of British tourists go there. If you can, you have to bring some money and go to the gold-selling district (gold souk). Cheapest gold prices in the world. Research it, I'm not kidding. Great shopping in Dubai. Bring your camera too because there are many great sights. I'd pay my money to go there (I went on business 3 years ago). I was there for 2 months. People are really nice. No crime there. Just don't get stupid drunk in public. BTW, they drive on the right side of the road.

Dubai is considered to be the most safe place in the planet.
Many foreigners are here. No crime.
I live in Dubai, so telling frankly it is lovely place

Ofcourse its safe! I go there every other weekend! The only things that bother me about it, are the over-crowded streets, and the humidty during the summer...other than that, its a great place, u'll have a really good time..

The only danger there is getting a bad sunburn and the driving is pretty scary. I have been there as a single white girl and I feel safer there then in Canada or anywhere else for that matter.

Of course its safe....its the west that isn't safe, I should know!
I'm from London and all my trips to The U.S. have been TERRIBLE!! my wallet got stolen and so did the car I had hired!!!
I've been to the East many times and have had no problem
just watch outfor the cab drivers, they may take you from a longer route and charge you more.
The people there are very friendly and they really respect foreigners
