That's B.S. what you're sister is going through. I hate how we have to always bend to minorities when sometimes they are the ones that are acting badly. Everyone should be treated equally.

Before I even BOTHER reading the responses of the Spanish/Mexican/Latino whatever the hell you want to call yourselves THESE days -- I KNOW YOU KNOW ENGLISH WHEN IT'S TIME FOR YER MONEEZ!
That said, the race card thingy is SO tired, but in no real sign of being actually played out yet. Lazy, shifty, incompetent people will always try to get away with whatever they can, of whatever race.
And by the way -- "reverse"? Huh? This assumes that normally only whites have the POWER to BE racist, and anyone else BEING racist is doing something quite out of order. That's just wrong...
I personally have decided to learn Spanish so this pathetic "speaking so I won't understand" crap is a thing of the past! They aren't exactly fighting over English-learning manuals at bookstores here in Arizona, land of the illegal invasion.
So, how about this? Tell your lazy, wimpy, fearful manager that WHEN you quit, which is only days away, you would like a reference that states clearly that you did the job of three people, since you actually did, and the little "ladies" can stay behind and be her team...
Manana or not... good luck... :)

Of course there is racism in reverse. Your sister could file a complaint for discrimination with the labor or EEO authorities. Or she could learn just a bit of Spanish and retaliate.

Oh heck yeah. How many all white newspapers, radio stations, etc. have you seen? There are plenty of examples of this "reverse racism". It's not just racism either. Did you know that you are a "homophobe" if you don't agree with the gay culture?
To sonnyd: Oh yeah, right! I deserve it? Sure! People like you and b perpetuate this nonsense.
'nuff said?

I beleive there is I live in a community, where there is a high aboriginal population and I find some of the younger ones are very racist against white people. So yes I think it does, exist.

To even call it 'reversed rascism' sounds kind of rascist in itself....it implies that pale people can't sue dark people because they are superior? That is very wrong. Everyone should be accountable for excluding someone because they are ethnically different - it does not matter what colour you are. I have experienced rascist threats in Tunisia. It was terrifying.

Well, if your sister knows they're saying bad things about her, I would assume she knows Spanish. She could just talk right back to them, after all, there is no law against bitching at someone in their language :p .

It should have nothing to do with racism!! Get some evidence (small tape recorder she can hide in her pocket or something..dont tell anyone not even the boss) take it as far as you can...its wrong and dont let them get away with it!!

YES it DOES. And it is very preveliant and not discussed. They are taking advantage of her. Pretending they're behavior is ok and she is just being racist. Meanwhile they are the problem and spreading hatred.
