It gives people bad ideas.

If you are talking about graphically violent movies, then I agree, movies are scarier when they leave things to the imagination, instead of trying to be daring by testing our gag reflexes. Showing blood and gore requires less creativity, artistry and imagination than implying it.

No, I love them, they should make more disturbing horror movies as most of them are pretty tame at the moment.

I don't believe they give people bad ideas. Most people know the difference between right and wrong and it is just a form of escapism to watch horror movies.

If you think about it, violent crime has soared in the last 10-15 years, but the most disturbing horror movies were made back in the late 70's and early 80's.

Horror movies or not; murderers, terrorist and psychopaths will still exist and banning horror movies will not change this fact.

You are a sicko and perhaps should go for counseling if horror movies give you ideas... If a psychopath wants to murder he'll do it whether he watches Barney or of he watches Texas Chainsaw Massacre... It is in the psychological makeup of the person, not the movies that cause them to do things like that. I watched Freddy Kruger from when I was 4 and I can't even bring myself to kill a spider and I cry when I read in the newspaper that a child has been killed or abused...

I dont totally agree coz people who are paranoid and scared about everything actually benefit from these movies as it slowly makes them immune to it
However I do agree that horror movies shouildn't have too much violence; thats where the bad stuff comes from

it's entertaining. I love horror films but it doesn't make me a bad or sick person. After watching a horror movie, we sometimes discuss it if it's worth it, otherwise we forget it.

I watch them once in awhile. I don't think they give normal people bad ideas. I suppose they could push some nuts over the edge.

Don't understand how people can watch them. My kids loved them when they were young and I couldn't bear to even watch the previews. Don't think they give normal people ideas tho.

I definetly agree. I've watched quite a few, and I don't want some of those images implanted into my brain. Too late now!

I disagree. I like them. People are who they are, regardless of
movies.
