how about this? tell the guy that right now you are at a critical stage in your studies and you can't lie to your mum... so if he cares for you truly, let him wait till your exams are over... and then you have all the time for him...

if he's that amazing, he'll understand and wait... your exams can be concentrated upon.. AND your mum will have respect for you, and a liking for him! problem solved

Well if it means between life and death to you, then why not tell your mom. You can compromise to your Mom. you can have a date with this AMAZING GUY if she'll accompany you. How's that? OK. if she said yes, then try to inform the guy that your bringing a chaperon. I"m not sure if this AMAZING GUY would be happy bout this kind of set up. So if i may suggest try to concentrate first on your studies, if you have good grades and you participate all the activities at the school, You'll be admired by the boys and whose drooling now? So open your biology text book to page 26... Good luck in your studies.

I am not sure how old you are as in 12 does not mean anything to me but maybe you could talk to your mum properly about this. Not in a tantrum or strop explain how you feel.
She is possibly thinking that your head will be full of this boy and he will become a distraction if he becomes a boyfriend. However, he could be just that if she refuses, it won't stop what goes on in your head. Show her how grown up you can be about the realities of the situation and explain that it is because you can never lie to her (which has to be said is admirable) that you want to talk to her. She was young once herself!!

You're better off keeping her trust in you. That's good that it means a lot to you! A lot of kids aren't that devoted to their parents. You have time for boys later on. You are a little young just yet for a boyfriend. Going on a chaperoned date shouldn't be a problem. Marcia Brady did it! lol

okay try and have a nice chat with ur mom.
sit her down and just explain to her whats going on
tell her about this guy
and tell her that you like him and want to go out with him
hopefully she will be uderstanding enough to let you
unless she is a *****
what ever you do, dont go behind her back and lie
believe me, i know this from eperience, and it only looses their trust and then you got nothing at all.
so just be up front about the situation
and hopefully, if she really loves you, she will understand and let you under her circumstances.

hope it works out for you
have a great day!!!

You are twelve, there will be plenty of time for boys later. Don't worry about boys and do as your parents tell you. I agree with your parents, your education is more important. Don't sneak out against your parents wishes because if you lose their trust it will be hard to gain it back.

Worry about your studies for now and think about the boys later. Never lie to your mom you will see it will all work out for the best.

study hard, you won't repent. However, how can you supress your hormones at this age....strike a balance and listen to your mind....parents are not always right. BoL
