Please be specific about what changes you experienced once you stopped breastfeeding and let me know how long you breastfed your baby. Also, did you all find that your breasts were more saggy once you stopped?

It's different for each person. After nursing my first child, I got bigger. I am currently nursing my second child so it may be different this time around. They did not get saggy from breastfeeding the first time. Don't let size and sagging prevent you from nursing. A good plastic surgeon can fix that later on in life. Give your child the best food possible, mother's milk.

My breasts were a full B before having any babies, then during pregnancy they went up to full C, breastfeeding brought them up to a DD and then after weaning they are a full C again.

They are now softer than they used to be, not quite as perky as they were pre-babies, but not flat either.... just a bit looser, I guess you could say.

I've had three kids and they haven't gotten worse or anything they go through the same changes each time.... although I started out at a C the second and third time around. I breastfed each one of them for about 7 and a half months (until they got those sharp little teeth).

Also my nipples are different. They don't go back to that cone-like shape that an unused nipple looks like, they always look somewhat erect... not like you could see them through your clothing erect, but if you're not wearing anything they look erect even when they are soft.

I think my breasts look better than they did before and they are so soft and sexy.... I like the changes I went through. I feel like a real woman!

I nursed both my sons for a year each. I was a small B before I got pregnant, and after my first was born I was a small C.. by the time I decided to stop nursing I was a D... 2 months after I was done, I was a C again.. and they were a little bit saggier. So, After baby 1.. I was bigger than I was before I got pregnant, but smaller than when I was nursing..

3 years later baby 2 comes along. I was a C.. after he was born I was a D.. when I stopped I was a DD.. now, 3 months later, I'm a C, but they're a little more saggy. They seem small to me when I'm not wearing a bra, but I need a 38C to keep them all in.. so.. yeah.. saggy..

babies do that to ya...

Your breast will get smaller because they are longer a storage place for milk. I breastfed son until he was 18 months and daughter until she was almost one. They got a little more saggy but not that bad for me. I have seen other that breastfed for short amount of time and their were more saggy. Guess it depends on your body type about the amount of sagging, but I would have breastfed mine even if the sagged big time, there is nothing like that bond you have with your baby.

I breastfed my baby for two months, and once I stopped, my breasts went back to their normal size.

Breasts are slightly more saggy, but that's not due to breastfeeding, that's due to pregnancy. You'll notice they're not quite as "perky" through your pregnancy. Breastfeeding won't change your breasts - it'll just make them slightly larger while you're nursing.

I breastfed my daughter for 18 months. Since I breastfed for so long, I still have some milk and no i don't feel it come down or leak anymore, its only if my nipples are squeezed and it keeps getting less and less. I know TMI. But you asked!! haha It is normal. been to my obgyn and was told it takes time to dry up. Do my breast sag, no not really and they haven't decreased in size. I wish they would but I have always been cursed with large breasts... But I took care of my breasts during pregnancy and after wards by always wearing a bra. I even sleep in it. The only time I take my bra off is to shower and switch bra's. I have pretty much lived in my bra's since my first was born 10 years ago and it was a family member who told me about this secret among others like how to reduce getting stretch marks and such. For having 3 kids I barely have stretch marks thanks to my Granny's advice. My advice is listen to your elders and even when their advice sounds insane, it just might work.

After weaning, your breasts will be smaller and a little saggy but let this not bother you, you can do exercises to firm up the muscles surrounding the breast and they will look good in a short time. Pls feed your baby, its the best milk and good luck

I breastfed my daugher for 10 months and when I stopped they definitely went down. About 1 cup size. They were a little bit saggier than before, but not much. Keep in mind that once you stop nursing you might leak for a while. I learned this the hard way! hahaha...

They do get smaller when you are finished nursing, although I'm not sure if they are actually smaller then they were to begin with or if it just seems like it b/c you are so used to them being bigger b/c of the milk. I was always able to get back into my regular bras fine once I quit nursing. And to answer your other question, they aren't ever quite as perky as they were before nursing.

I have three kids...
#1-nursed 12 months
#2-nursed 17 months
#3-is 11 months old and we are still nursing
