Robbie Williams has hardly become hiphop - he's just done a bit of rapping on a track. And Nelly Futardo had to do something else, the squeeky cutesy songs were just too much

If you want to know a very good vocal coach try to visit https://tr.im/HMbGy an online vocal coaching tutorial. Everything, ranging from breathing fundamentals, vocalizing exercises, techniques on singing high and low notes, how to not go off-key/out of tune/off-sync, musicianship and music theory, proper diction and articulation, and a lot more are covered, all in our native language. It can be quite technical in nature, but it really helps since it covers the musical aspect of singing deeply and not just concentrates on how to impress people with your vocal range, riffs and runs and other cliches that do not necessarily make one a complete vocalist.

I agree, Robbie Williams just aint got the rap thing in him. Makes him kind of sound disabled when it comes on the radio..
He should leave it alone and start telling us to let him entertain us again...

While I don't think an artist should be confined to one genre, they obviously did it for the promise of money since that music is more popular now. I don't think either one of them was better off being a popstar, and now both of their careers will be dead and you'll be rid of them.

I personally thing it is because the border of popular music have become blurred. Gone are the days of Hip-Hop being relegated to Rappers. Shame really as most of the stuff they now describe as hip-Hop is rubbish. Including those you mentioned. Generic manufactured music. Horrible.
