Hi i'm a Tomboy, let me answer this for you. The reason why some femmes perfer Tomboy's is because:
1. We're Sweet
2. Kind
3. Considerate
4. Loving
5. Caring
6. Romantic
7. Sensitive
8. Women
A tomboi shows more emotion, we don't hide our feelings. We're the ones who'll cook you dinner, write you poetry, bring you flowers and spoil you rotten.

Gosh almighty. She's a lesbian. Look it up. She's not attracted to men! What makes the tomboy attractive to her? The tomboy is a woman! Do you know what a lesbian is? Its a woman who is attracted to other women. There is no type of man, macho, sissy or in-between who will beat out another woman when it comes to winning the affections and attentions of a lesbian.

The same way straight women have different types of men to choose from. Some straight women like little wimps to boss around & some like the macho kind. One who may love Prince may hate Denzel. It's the same with lesbians. It takes all types. Sometimes opposites attract. I don't have a preference myself. I judge the heart.

i really don't know but speculate that tomboys are aggressive but at the same time are subtle and sweet?? girls may like that sort of approach. a tomboy tends to be more independent and shows a good deal of confidence.

again, this is stereotyping. not all of us are "tomboys." maybe some are. of course, I see most of the response are from bigoted homophobes...again! why do you even bother to come to these forums? nothing better to do?
lesbians like WOMEN...not men! some are more feminine than others... just like men. and I'm talking both gay and straight people! you need to get out in the real world and meet real people and not go by stereotypes in tv/movies.

there is a huge difference between a butch female, and a male... just as there is with a FTM and a biological male. it's something that cannot be easily explained to some people. just because i prefer fellow butches, like myself, does not mean that i want to BE a man, nor i want to be WITH one. you still have the personality of another woman, as well as the female intimacy.
