It seems to me that a new verse (perhaps between verse 7 & 8?) would be highly appropriate for Bob Dylan's scathing anti-war song "with God on our side".

If Bob Dylan's logged onto this site, please could he pen it and re-release it ASAP? If not, could anyone else out there write a new verse?

The song is too long to copy here: for lyrics, see http://bobdylan.com/songs/withgod.html

The years have rolled by
And our enemy’s changed
Now it is Islam
And we’re real enraged
But we’ll win this war too
For there’s no place to hide
Even though they too
Have God on their side

For the last verse maybe.

I realised quickly
I redrew the score
I re-read the lyrics to "Masters of War"
The times are a changing
the die has been cast
You're lookin to history to re-write the past
It people we need now to get on one side
God is just watching
along for the ride
The violent are violent
The powerful cruel
The peaceful are fearful
The apathetic are cool

If we need a solution
It blows in the wind
The war of all wars
will kill all our kind
God or no God on anyones side.

Yes! what a good idea. But please leave the Blair Bush Project ... i.e. Iraq out of the new verses, as I for one am totally sick and tired of hearing about it from those two morons. Please know you can still get the message across on how futile and wrong war is without mentioning those two.
