A woman's "flaws," as SHE perceives them, are frankly one of the biggest barriers in our relationship. As time roles on, she learns that in every sense of the words I use, not only to describe her, but to describe how I feel about her, she is remarkable - beautiful - captivating. Yet this beautiful being, whose every glance thrills me, every sound captures me, every movement entrances me, and every thought lures me, often shakes my vision of the depths into which I swim, when I revel in all she is, by pulling me back to the superficial. She focuses on a few extra pounds, the wrinkles, and on all the things that she'd never overtly vocalize to me, but which clearly haunt her vision of herself.
*sigh*
Women, do you believe me when I not only "say" you are beautiful, but when I "feel" it? ..... All you are rifles through me in an instant, and always. Do you do believe me? Is there something I should say?..... do?..... whatever?..... when you don't see yourself the way I do?
