it has been a while since i have been learning how to do gymnastics (by a while i mean like less than a month :P) but i cannot seem to get my legs together during a handstand ( i can put my legs totally horizontal, but not vertical and together!!) how can i fix this?

Just practice and body strength,,
Keep at it , and you will be doing it before you know.

Use a wall to help feel what it is like to be in a handstand. But don't use it too much, because then you will always rely on the wall for balance. So find an open area, and keep practicing. Use the wall sometimes though. It worked for me. Just keep practicing and you will get better in no time!

Maybe practice against a wall.. do the usual handstand, have your heals come up against a wall, then bring your legs together, hold it for 15-20 seconds, repeat as needed.
