I am looking for hotels for 1-2 nights stay, near US embassy in Chennai. Can any one suggest the hotel name and contact number ?
I am looking for the price range of 400-800 a night. if you can give the contact number that would be great ! i can book it from Bangalore.

The hotels mentioned are certainly not within the price range you had specified. There are many Mansions in Triplicane Area, which is about 5 Kms from US Embassy. If you know chennai, go to chennai and reach Triplicane. Walk into any Mansion, you stand to get a room. Try Mansion in and around Bharathi Road (Old name Pycrofts Road)

The new Courtyard Marriott at Teynampet is just 2-3 min from the US consulate in Chennai. Heard it's very good service, true of all Marriott's.
