In S.E Asia, for past few years, it's becoming a VERY good business.
You can see many aromatherapy shops are emerging.
They offer not only aromatheraphy, but also massage, spa, manicure, padicure, facial treatment, hair saloon, and many others.
It's becoming a LIFESTYLE for young people with average income to visit these shope for at least once a month to pamper themselves.

So, based on my experience living in S.E Asia, I'd say becoming an aromatherapist is a good choice to make money.
If it works here, it might works at your place too.
BUT make sure you do it because you love it and not because of the money.
Otherwise, you'll get bored!

Wish you best of luck!!!

If you love what you do, and people find you good, then aromatherapy can be profitable. Remember, any alternative healing therapy/business will take time to establish itself.
