a lightish greeny colour suits everyone who has dark hair or dark eyes it looks Fab try suttley a light foudation with green eyes and a soft brown lipstick or Lipgloss if you dnt like lippy. also try a glitter puff if you are going to go on a night out it will give you Glam and Sexy all at the same time and will look Fab.

I will try to help. Max Factor Pantone Sticks.

1. If you are fair of skin, then go slightly darker.
2. Only blend in stick, with sponge, where uneven areas of skin are. Be subtle in application & blend evenly.

Rule of thumb: Less is more, unless you are doing theatre, movie or commercial, and that's for a purpose.
(An example of defining the nose too much, is in the Kirstey Alley Pier One commercials. That kind of application is appropriate for stage, where you must be recognizable to the back rows, but not on a commercial).

1. Since you have dark brown hair, if it is almost black looking, then you want to go with winter colors to accent your eyes & cheeks. If your dark brown hair is red in color, then you want to go with fall colors, more orange & warm in tone. So remember these choices for eye shadow & cheeks.

2. You said pale skin, so I am taking an educated guess that you are winter colors: royal blues, purples, true reds, deep yellows, Kelly greens & all their tints, plus black & gray would complement you in dress. The tints (meaning the addition of white to lighten the color) would be used for eyeshadow, with some grey blended in the upper outer corners of the lids, to balance the blending with the chosen tint.

3. If it's a work sitiuation, eyeshadow should be downplayed & coordinate with attire. You don't want obnoxious sky blue with a wonderfully, elegant banker's grey outfit. Dating is another story. Have fun, sparkle, but don't overdo it on the mascara, unless you are into Goth. Otherwise, you will look like 'death warmed over'.

4. Just a splash blended into the cheeks of maroon powder & I mean lightly. Always blend away from the face (i.e. backwards). Lipstick could be a maroon & or dark red for your coloring.

5. The goal is a fresh look, not pasty look.

6. Without knowing more, this is the best I can do.

How lucky you are!! Hazel-eyed women can wear just about any eye color pallete. But we do best with pinks and purples with a contrast of black or brown. Always choose a foundation that will match your skin tone. If you wear glasses, wear black mascara.
Your eyes will be more prominent over the glasses. Blush and lips should match, but usually very subtle pinks or a rose tone will suit your fair skin. I'm guestimating, since I can't see you to give you an accurate color match. You can play with colors on Cover Girl's website. They have virtual models there where you can choose a model that best suits you.

For foundation and concealer, you should try Bare Escentuals i.d. Bare Minerals makeup; it's really natural and covers everything. You can get it at Sephora or Ulta.

For eyeshadow, try shades in copper, gold, bronzy-gold, deep rosy-pink, rosy-plum, violet, lavender, dove grey, slate blue, periwinkle, jade.

For liner, try deep brown, navy, bronzy-gold, hunter-green, violet (only on top lash line, lining under your eyes will only make them look smaller).

For mascara, try deep brown (NOT black, it will be too harsh and fake with your pale skin).

For blush (you should wear it to avoid looking palid), try shades of peachy-pink, light cinnamon, light raspberry, or golden rose.

For lips, try shades in pinky-brown, sheer raspberry, apricot, or cinnamony-pink.

I, too, am pale with dark, chestnut-brown hair with olive-brown eyes, so I know what I'm talking about! :~)

Also, check out the Covergirl website; it'll help you find makeup colors just for you. Here's the link: http://www.covergirl.com/whatsright/colo... :~)
