A tan isnt bad for your skin, provided you dont over expose your skin to the sun without UV proctection all the time. Once in a while is fine, but make sure that when you are exposed to the sun yu use a high UV sun protection to protect your skin against the sun rays, which in the long run could bring skin problems, not to mention cancer, ageing amongst other better be safe than sorry

You must have high protection from the sun, not expose yourself between 12.00-15.00, and not get much tan, because that means you are being exposed too much. It is not the tan itself that is bad, but the exposure to the sun.

It can be...too much of a good thing makes a bad thing, being tan isn't bad but don't try and be super dark if you aren't that way naturally.

Are you coloured or white? and where do you live? Tan isn't bad at all but it depends on your skin type.
