Relax yourself. No point to think about sleep if you can't sleep. Get up and walk around and strech a bit, take a shower or even bath. Play music you like. Have a glass of water or juice or whatever. Go out to your front / back yard waiting for sunrise. Then have nice breakfast.

Read a phone book, have a warm cup of milk with Cinnamon in it imagine yourself somewhere great and drift around. Hope some of that helps

Try getting out of bed, instead of tossing around and read a book or do something that like light household chores that lets you move around....hopefully this helps

try lying in bed and keeping your eyes closed breath deeply, and with every breath relax every muscle in your body one by one and think of a dreamy place to be weather it is you lying on a beach on a tropical island with the man of your dreams or sitting on top of a magical mountain enjoying the fresh air and spectacular view, see how you go if that fails try some hot chocolate!

Switch off your computer. Put it out of your mind that you have a computer. Go and lay down in bed with all the lights off and close your eyes. Imagine shutting your limbs off individually and you'll feel more relaxed. Listen to your thoughts, then, one by one, quiet them or resolve them until all you have in your head is the desire to go to sleep.
Now imagine that you have to stay awake and try hard to stay awake without moving your body or opening your eyes.
