Every day when I look at my 14 year old sister. I was still climbing trees at her age - she's been going out with boys and drinking for a year now.
Also, me and my bf went on holiday to Mallorca and we went into a disco, I said "Honey, I think we're the oldest people in here!" we're only 22 and 24!!! SCARY!! Then I saw 2 couples dancing, both showing their privates, etc, skirts hitched up round their waists, I said "Is that really what kids nowadays do when they go out!!??"
I thought it when we got up early the next morning and there were teenagers sleeping in the streets, passed out drunk.
I thought it when I saw a group of girls walking down the steet outside a few minutes ago, wearing next to nothing, and all smoking...
I think it a lot - I would never have behaved like that when I was their age! I find kids nowadays behaviour disgusting and embarrassing.
Wow, I sound a lot older than I am!! But I have my own child now, and when I look at kids, all I can imagine is him in a few years time. I hope I am bringing him up not to behave that way.

When a customer of mine (I run a shop) commented that kids dont know how to work these days, my daughter is 16 has full time studies with high school and works 20+ hours a week I told him he didn't mean all kids. He then said kids from my era (80's) wouldn't of had the courage to work set him straight again when I said I have been working since I was 14
So my saying is
Kids these days do know how to work hard for a living, but would rather it be handed to them on a silver platter"

When I was out of high school and working in retail. I began to dread summer vacation (and cheer for school to start!) because of the kids coming into the store and screwing around for lack or parental supervision/something better to do. It was really bad when I worked at Target... we kicked some kids out of the store for running around with bras on. Don't 10 y/o boys have anything better to do? Frankly, a lot of this comes from parents using other people/activities as babysitters. I now work in Petsmart and, often times, parents will want to shop at the more boring stores, like Linens and Things, in our strip and allow their kids to roam our store. That is completely irresponsible and frankly, has the potential to be unsafe. I am only 25, and have been thinking this way for years now.... I cannot wait for school to start!

To many people thinkThese kids nowadays.
its about time we all did something, i would say curfews and electroinic tagging. i think 6.30pm would do. then they have to be inside, where their own parents would have to deal with them.. NOT ME.. Maybe even a mass culling, by the army, they could go around malls looking for kids with gormless expressions. I think probably going through the credit card database too, and finding any child with trainers worth over $100 , then putting them and their parents on tv as a shamefull experience.
Kids b'ware - once u turnn 18 ure going to jail.

The last time my husband and I went to a mall after school got out.
I'm 25 and feel like I'm 40. Chatting on their cell phones, running through the mall, all the crazy clothing, the poor taste in music. I hope I wasn't that bad.
Every time I go there, I decide to wait before I have children. :-)

When I was walking down the sidewalk and someone came by in a car with the radio so loud it was shaking the bolts right out of the engine! If it was decent music I wouldn't have been offended but it was talking trash about women and using vulgar language.
