I don't know about the vega, but I do know I can also use the clip off of a Chevy Monza from that same era.

You have a problem. You have a car that is a oddball. Not a collectable model and over 25 years old. While there are tons of after market parts for muscle cars like Mustangs & Camaros or 442's; Olds Starfires are a non starter. Try http://www.traderonline.com

the cheapest way to buy a nose clip may be to buy an entire car that comes with a bill of sale only like on eBay. The advantage is you can swap other parts too. The disadvantage is the shipping costs and dosposal costs of the junk car. Folks who sell you a nose clip will charge you for these costs + their profit so why not just do it yourself and save a little $

I would try calling your local junk yard. You may be able to find one on an old junked out car or they may have one already pulled out of the vehicle. My guy is a mechanic and goes this route for some of his good friends just to save them money. Give it a try.

Auto-part stores often charge you an arm and a leg just to special order things. Online services, they charge you shipping and handling and you need a credit card (which I don't trust online). I do know that some parts are designed for the same type vehicles too. I would have to look in the books to find out.

You could also find an old junked out starfire and use the guts for parts on your vehicle and by all means if you need it, put an ad in the newspaper. good luck.

If you can't find one on the internet, you may have better luck asking a body shop to fabricate one.
