I dont really know how many times I should be putting lotion on my 3 boys ages 6,9,and 12. I usually rub them head to toe with a body lotion after their baths and showers but I don't really know how many times I should be applying lotion on them. Is there supposed to be more lotion applied at certain ages?

If you use lotion on your children, how old are they and how many times do you apply lotion on them?

I don't think it is that important I never put lotion on my four year old daughter. So I guess whenever you want to or you feel it's needed is fine. Maybe you should ask their Doctor though if your concerned.

I live in a temperate region and as such have enough of sunlight. Ordinarily, i don't apply lotion on my children but rather allow them to take vitamin E from the sun everyday btw 8 to 10 am every morning. But during the harmattan season which usually comes with dryness , i apply vaseline petroleum jelly ion them 2x a day ( mornings & evenings). Ages, 7 to 17

Umm. . why do they need lotion?

I didn't have any lotion put on me as a kid (not even sunblock), and I turned out fine. None of my siblings had any, either, except baby powder during infancy.

I only put lotion on my 3 year old because she has exzema. Put as much on as you want.
