Killing animals just to use them for decoration is wrong in my eyes. The Native Americans way back when used to thank each animal after they killed it because it would be put to good use. They used every part of the animal, because they NEEDED every part of it. Nowadays, people are killing animals left and right to make coats and shoes. I believe killing animals is okay as long as they are used to feed people, something that is necessary to live. Having a mink coat is NOT necessary.

Sins are a fabrication of christianity. Killing an animal for sport or fun is an absolute moral wrong.

Only if you painful torch and kill them for fun! That is a sin. But Jesus killed the fish for survival so that is okay right? Then again I am not comfortable with killing animals but for survival. Just look at my name!

no, if we didn't kill animals we would have some serious helth issues. and before you tell me that they are all cute, cuddly little defensless creatures I just want to say that animals kill each other, that's nature. Bears kill fish, wolves kill chickens, lions kill everything that moves, humans eat everything that is edible. It's been that way for thousands of years and isn't going to change any time soon.

Not if you need food to eat, or if it's trying to eat you. Come to think of it, I'm really not the man to ask about sin. I could never understand the concept of "SIN".

it's technically not, as although the bible says "thall shalt not murder" the characters in the Bible ate meat and didn't get punished for it.
It's evil to kill for the pleasure, but i see nothing wrong with killing to eat, even the animals do that - and you don't call those that do wicked do you?
